My Jobs and the job page

My Jobs is the technician's home tab: your assigned work for the day, in the same order the lead sequenced it in Bay View. Clicking a card opens the job page, where the actual work is recorded. Owners and admins only see My Jobs when acting as technician; lead technicians see all tabs.

The My Jobs layout

  • Unassigned band at the top, when self-assign is enabled, holding claimable work.
  • Active card grid in bay-view order: your day, in sequence.
  • Project and Completed Today bands pinned to the bottom. Cards in review group into Completed Today.

Task status on cards is carried by icons, never chips:

Clicking an unassigned card opens the Start Job claim modal; confirming claims the job. If someone beat you to it, a friendly conflict message says so.

The job page, top to bottom

  • Arrival banner when the vehicle is still Booked In: confirm the arrival before clocking on.
  • Sent-back banner when the card came back from review for rework.
  • Job header: rego badge, make/model/year, service, estimated hours, due-out, RO number, and the work timer for clocking on and off.
  • Numbered sections: 1 Condition Report (only on the first job card of the RO's day), 2 Inspection embedded in the page, 3 Parts Used, 4 Work Carried Out.
  • Voice assist footer fixed at the bottom.

The interactions that matter

  1. Claim an unassigned job from the top band via the Start Job modal, when self-assign is on.
  2. Confirm arrival from the banner if the vehicle is still Booked In, then clock on with the work timer.
  3. Work the numbered sections in order: condition report, inspection, parts, work carried out.
  4. Mark tasks as you go. A regular task is a full-width Done toggle coloured by severity; project tasks use a Stuck / In progress / Complete three-button control.
  5. Clock off with the work timer when you stop, so labour stays honest.
