The arrivals board

The Arrivals tab is the morning board. You are on it when vehicles are due in and the counter is tracking who has turned up, who has not, and who is ready to leave.

The columns

  • Expected. Today's due arrivals, with an Expecting Today / All Dates toggle, the + add control, and a No Show count in the column header.
  • Arrived. A drag-drop zone: dropping a card here marks the vehicle present.
  • Ready for Pickup. A rail that appears only when at least one vehicle is ready to hand back.

The interactions that matter

  1. Arrive a vehicle by dragging its card into Arrived, or by pressing the card's Arrive action. Both run the authorisation readiness check and open the guided review, unless authorisations are switched off.
  2. Record a no-show with notes when a customer does not turn up.
  3. Rebook a no-show to a new date. The same repair order moves to the new date; nothing is duplicated.
  4. Start a walk-in from the + add control without leaving the board.

Arrival opens the guided review

When intake authorisation is enabled, arriving a vehicle from this board opens the guided arrival review. The walkthrough is covered in Process an arrival.

Seeing the board needs the Arrivals tab permission; arriving a vehicle or recording a no-show additionally needs the process-arrivals permission.
